West Ham vs Burnley Betting Tips

West Ham have become familiar with draws of late, ending level in three of their last five league matches coming into this weekend.

The Hammers’ 3-0 defeat away to Chelsea was followed up with successive draws against Brighton and Southampton. 

In their last league match, West Ham beat Everton 1-0 away from home thanks to Tomas Soucek’s 86th minute winner.

They left it late once again in the FA Cup after beating non-league Stockport County thanks to Craig Dawson’s decisive goal in the 84th minute.

West Ham will be without Fabian Balbuena, Issa Diop, Lukasz Fabianski, Ryan Fredericks and Arthur Masuaku.

Burnley have begun to drag themselves away from the relegation zone, showing much better form after a tough start to the season.

The Clarets picked up home wins against Wolves and Sheffield United either side of an away loss at Leeds over the festive period. 

They then had an 11-day wait for their next match as they beat MK Dons on penalties in the FA Cup.

Burnley then saw their five-match unbeaten run at home come to an end after Paul Pogba’s volley sealed a 1-0 win for Manchester United on Wednesday.

Burnley are missing Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Jimmy Dunne and Charlie Taylor. Dwight McNeil could come back into the starting XI after featuring as a substitute against Manchester United.

West Ham and Burnley have been involved in low-scoring games recently and I’m expecting another match featuring under 2.5 goals.
