Leeds vs Brighton Betting Tips

Leeds are currently 12th in the Premier League table and Marcelo Bielsa will be content with their return of three wins in their last five league fixtures.

Home wins over Newcastle and Burnley came either side of a 6-2 drubbing at the hands of Manchester United. Leeds then got over that result with a 5-0 thrashing of West Brom before a 3-0 defeat away to Tottenham.

Last time out, a much changed Leeds side were shocked in the FA Cup by Crawley Town, losing 3-0 away from home as they were dumped out at the third round.

Leeds will be without midfielder Kalvin Phillips due to suspension. Tyler Roberts, Diego Llorente, Robin Koch, Adam Forshaw and Gaetano Berardi are all injured.

Brighton are just two points ahead of 18th-placed Fulham in the table, with Scott Parker’s team also having two games in hand on the Seagulls.

Graham Potter’s team are winless in their last nine matches in the Premier League, taking just a point from their last three. Brighton lost 1-0 at home to Arsenal and drew 3-3 with Wolves, before needing penalties to defeat Newport County in the FA Cup.

In their last match, Brighton were beaten 1-0 away to Manchester City as Phil Foden scored the game’s only goal.

Brighton’s injury list features Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Adam Lallana, Steven Alzate, Aaron Connolly, Danny Welbeck, Tariq Lamptey, Jose Izquierdo and Florin Andone.

Leeds have won 18 times in this fixture over Brighton’s 16. They have also played out 11 draws. 

Leeds won the most recent meeting between the sides 2-0.

Leeds have won each of their last two matches at home and I’m expecting them to extend that winning streak to three matches on Saturday.
