Everton vs Leicester Betting Tips

Everton are currently 6th in the Premier League but need to improve their home form having lost three of their last five matches at Goodison Park.

Carlo Ancelotti’s team lost their last home league match against West Ham, falling to a 1-0 defeat after Tomas Soucek’s winner. Everton have since bounced back with three wins, albeit two in the FA Cup against Championship sides. 

They beat Rotherham and Wolves 2-1 before facing Sheffield Wednesday in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday night. Everton progressed via a 3-0 win thanks to goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Yerry Mina.

Abdoulaye Doucoure is suspended, while Alex Iwobi, Lucas Digne, Niels Nkounkou, Allan, Fabian Delph and Jean-Philippe Gbamin are all struggling with knocks.

Leicester are just two points off the top of the Premier League table and have won each of their last five matches in all competitions.

The Foxes also have nine wins in 12, beating Newcastle, Stoke and Southampton in their first three games of the new year. Those victories were then followed by an impressive 2-0 win over Chelsea at the King Power Stadium.

Last time out, Brendan Rodgers’ side beat Brentford 3-1 away from home in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Cengiz Under, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison all netted against the Championship high-flyers.

Leicester will be without star forward Jamie Vardy, as well as Wes Morgan and Dennis Praet through injury.

Everton have 44 wins in this fixture to Leicester’s 38. They have also played out 32 draws in their history.

Everton won 2-0 when the two sides met earlier this season.

Leicester look serious title contenders and despite Everton’s decent form, I like the look of Leicester getting a result.
